Borage Oil - The great value of this oil is that it is the richest known source (24%) of an essential fatty acid called gamma- linolenic acid (GLA), which is important to restore moisture and smoothness to dry and damaged skin, but can also provide relief to people who suffer from chronic skin disorders such as eczema and atopic dermatitis.

Clinical tests showed that there is strong evidence that borage oil plays an important role in restoring the intracellular moisture barrier of adult skin which is either chronically dry or has been environmentally damaged.

Borage Oil is excellent for the treatment of severe infantile seborrhoic dermatitis, a common condition in infants known as "cradle cap." This condition is characterized by dry scales and crusts on the scalp, eyelids, face, armpits, breast and groin. The infants were treated twice daily with topically applied borage oil and the condition cleared within two weeks.

If the treatment was discontinued, the symptoms came back within 1 week. However, if the treatment was maintained until the Babies became 7 months old and was then stopped, there was no relapse.

Evening Primrose Oil has an exceptionally high content Linoleic Acid and the rare Gamma-Linolenic Acid. These Fatty Acid can be incorporated into the Lipid structure of the skin and regenerate it even if they are applied only topically. It is very useful for the treatment of numerous conditions from dry skin, eczema, and psoriasis.

It is also used because of its excellent moisturizing and emollient properties which reduces the effects of aging skin. It is an exceptionally fine textured oil and has remarkable moisturizing, emollient and anti-inflammatory properties.

Licorice (Glycyrrhiza Glabra) contain coumarins, flavonoids, volatile oils, plant sterols, and glycyrrhizin. Packed with hundreds of potentially healing substances, licorice root has been used worldwide to treat a variety of ailments, in particular skin conditions. Clinical studies involving licorice and inflammatory skin dermatoses confirmed that licorice is an effective treatment for rosacea, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and drug-induced skin eruptions. Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) One of the oldest healing plants. Yarrow's high azulen content (which gives it its powerful anti-inflammatory action) is even higher than Chamomile. Azulen also gives Yarrow anti-infectious properties for treating infections.  It is ideal for oily and problem skins.

Veronica Speedwell (Veronica officinalis) is used since centuries in Europe mainly for the treatment of chronic, in particular itching skin conditions.
