Glycerine (vegetable based) is available naturally in vegetable oils and can also be the byproduct of soap making. Glycerine is found naturally in the skin and forms part of the “Natural Moisturizing Factor” (NMF), a compound of substances which are responsible to retain and bind moisture in the skin.

It has strong water-binding properties, enhances the flexibility of the skin and when used with vegetable oils and Phytosteroles helps to regenerate the skin. It penetrates deep into the Epidermis and acts as a moisture depot. Because it penetrates so deep it can hardly be washed out when the skin gets into contact with water.

Glycerine also helps to strengthen the skin barrier – It increases the thickness of the epidermal layer and improves the barrier function. This means that the harmful chemicals stay out of the skin and moisture stays in.

Since Glycerine is part of the “body-own” substances it is very compatible to the skin.

Green Tea helps to draw out impurities, reduce large pores and gives your skin a nice healthy glow. Its substantial anti-inflammatory properties soothe and calm the skin, reduce itching and inflammation, while simultaneously tackling cuts, scrapes and other blemishes. The tanning acid helps to remove any excess oil.

Avocado Oil is rich in alpha Tocopherol, which actively promotes metabolism and enhances the re-generation of the cell membranes in the skin.

Avocado Oil is rich in Palmitoleic Acid which is similar to the sebum in the human skin and is therefore very compatible even for sensitive and sick skin.
