Rosemary, Rosemarinus officinalis,  encourages hair growth by improving blood flow to the scalp, encourages strong, healthy hair, stimulates growth, increases manageability and adds shine. The stimulating and revitalizing properties of rosemary help condition both hair and scalp. One of the great medicinal herbs for hair treatment.

We steam-distillate Organic Rosemary on our farm and use the distillate and the plant in soap bars.

Olive Oil - We use one of the best South African cold pressed extra virgin Olive Oils available on the market. It is by a large margin our most important vegetable oil used in our soap making processes and is usually the first oil on the recipe.

Olive Oil has properties that can make your hair shiny and soft. This is the reason why it has been used for centuries as a natural hair conditioner. Excellent choice if you have problems like dry, flaky scalp or dandruff. It is very light and does not make your hair too greasy. Olive oil helps to bring moisture back to the hair, leaving it healthy-looking and shiny. Rich in vitamins A, E and antioxidants, olive oil helps protect the keratin in hair and seals in moisture. Olive oil can remove the buildup of sebum that impedes the formation of new hair follicles and hinders hair growth.

Avocado Oil is good for moisturizing dry, brittle, and damaged hair. It has a light weight formula that's easily absorbed into the hair and scalp. It contains many nutrients such as vitamins A, B, D, E, protein, amino acids, iron, copper, magnesium, and folic acid. All these nutrients are beneficial for nourishment and hair growth. It has natural humectant properties adding and locking in moisture. It’s also great for deep conditioning, strengthening hair, and adding shine. The vitamins, amino acids, and high fat content promote healthy cell growth and are great for maintaining and restoring scalp health (dry, itchy scalp).

Nettle, Urtica dioica, stimulates the scalp, improves circulation, and helps promote fuller, more radiant hair. Nettles have a long-standing reputation for preventing hair loss and making the hair soft and shiny. Nettle, an excellent hair conditioner, is rich in minerals and plant hormones, is tonic and astringent and gives a healthy gloss to hair.  Nettle is said to be a remedy for oily hair, dandruff, and hair shaft breakage.
