Olive Oil - We use one of the best South African cold pressed extra virgin Olive Oils available on the market. It is by a large margin our most important vegetable oil used in our soap making processes and is usually the first oil on the recipe.

It has been the favourite of soap maker since ancient times. It penetrates the skin better than any other oil. The resulting soaps are moisturizing as well as mild. It is packed with vitamins, minerals and proteins and produces mild, creamy soaps with great emollient properties. Olive oil based soaps are perfect for people with a dry or sensitive skin including eczema and psoriasis.

Olive oil is rich in antioxidants, which help to protect the skin against free radicals which promote aging. Its oleic acids and polyphenols  help prevent wrinkles and sagging of skin.

Avocado Butter is obtained from Avocado Oil and conserves the essential properties of Avocado Oil.

It spreads easily on the skin and has excellent penetrating and moisturizing properties which assist in the repair and softening of the skin.

It is still used a lot in skin care and soap making and women who are known to using it are often called “Rice Bran Beauties” which is one of the nicest compliments they can get. With all its natural Vitamins and Fatty Acids it s called a beauty secret in Japan. The main benefit of Rice Bran Oil is its wonderful deep-moisturizing capability. Macadamia Nut Oil is rich in Palmitoleic Acid making it an effective antioxidant protecting the cell membranes from damage through free radicals. The fatty acid composition is similar to the human sebum.

Since the Palmitoleic Acid production in our skin declines with age, Macadamia Nut Oil is very useful for mature and dry skin, which needs nourishment and moisture. It penetrates and hydrates the skin quickly providing the important fatty acid needed.

It absorbs well into the skin and is highly emollient and soothing.

Elderberry (Sambucus Nigra) is an old remedy for refining skin, removing freckles and keeping skin blemish-free.
